Pumping stations, local heritage rooms, churches, archaeological and architectural monuments – these are all fascinating places that bring a landscape’s cultural heritage to life. This short film about the Kulturhafen Groß Neuendorf was made as part of the project “Jugend macht Dokumentarfilm”. Over the course of a project week, the participating children and young people from Groß Neuendorf, Letschin, Gusow and Ortwig got to know this heritage site, gained a wide range of insights into filmmaking, shot their own scenes and interviews, and finally edited this moving documentary.
Interviewees: Jens Plate (architect), Renate Rindfleisch (former local mayor of Groß Neuendorf), Tobias Hartmann (Oderbruch Museum Altranft)
