About us

Two perspectives, one production.

LIBRA Film is the joint production of Dr. Johanna Ickert and Susanne Richter in Berlin. We combine documentary experience with scientific precision: both founders come from research and from filmmaking, and both stay editorially responsible for every project.

Network

For camera, sound, editing, animation and design we work with a fixed circle of freelance colleagues. The team is put together to fit the project – not to fill a schedule. That keeps every team small, experienced and right for its subject.
