Sepsis is considered the third most common cause of death in Germany. It is estimated that between 280,000 and 350,000 people in Germany develop sepsis every year. The faster it is diagnosed and treated, the better the chances of recovery. With this series of training videos, we want to raise awareness of sepsis among family carers and give them clear, practical guidance on how to act quickly and correctly if they suspect it. Across 8 episodes, sepsis specialists and various experts in psychotherapy, occupational therapy and sepsis support have their say, along with a number of people affected by sepsis and their families.
