Oderbruch Heritage - People Shape the Landscape

Heritage sites include local heritage rooms and village museums, archaeological and architectural monuments, pumping stations, ship mills and windmills, churches and farmsteads. Together, they bring the cultural heritage of the Oderbruch to life. The following trailer was made for the application by the Kommunale Arbeitsgemeinschaft Kulturerbe Oderbruch for the European Heritage Label. The application was successful: in 2022, the European Commission announced the award of the label. Since 2011, the label has recognised sites that symbolise European unification and the history of the EU, bringing this closer to the public - especially to children and young people - through suitable activities.
